We have built a GWD Iframe inserting a pdf into this test page. We are told GWD insert image does not recognize pdf as an image.

It works fine in Chrome and Thailand I E but fails to render the iframe in USA I E. (no iframe or pdf) and I don't know how that is even possible but that what the test shows (no iframe in USA IE).

even with adobe reader installed to both Samsung androids (Galaxy 10.1 and 5 inch Galaxy Note) both operarting on android 4.1 or higher.

Until resolved GWD iframe does not import a PDF cross platform!
Yup, that's correct as far as I know .pdf is not GWD recognized image. Further more the GWD video viewer only works with 3 types of video files. To use this feature one must convert their current videos one of the supported endings. For me that's 30 + videos. So our work around for that is to hyperlink to your video functioning elsewhere.

ReplyDeleteWe have also built an html iframe and inserted a .pdf url within it with success on chrome, and nothing on android and thailand Ie working fine but USA I E give an empty iframe. SO the GWD HTML iframe is not cross platform.
